San Luis Obispo, CA — The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at MCSC invites the community to shop local and support small businesses at the WBC Fall Marketplace, happening Sunday, October 19, from 12–4 PM at The Hub SLO (1701 Monterey Street).
Hosted in partnership with Central Coast Brewing, the Fall Marketplace is a celebration of creativity and entrepreneurship, featuring a variety of local vendors, handcrafted products, and unique services just in time for the gift-giving season. The event provides a platform for small business owners to connect with the community, gain exposure, and grow their customer base.
“The WBC has been amazing. I’ve learned so much about marketing my business online with Instagram and AI knowledge I never had,” said Debbie Edwards, owner of Facials from the Sea and one of this year’s marketplace participants. “I’ve met with Andrea [LaRosa] for several months and have gained fresh ideas that are helping me grow my business. I’m excited to meet new faces and build new relationships through the marketplace.”
For many entrepreneurs like Edwards, the WBC has been instrumental in providing business training, mentorship, and resources to help small businesses thrive—particularly women-owned and local enterprises across the Central Coast.
The WBC Fall Marketplace is open to the public and promises an afternoon of shopping, networking, and community connection. Attendees can discover one-of-a-kind gifts, meet local makers, and enjoy a fun seasonal atmosphere while supporting San Luis Obispo’s small business community.
