PACE Women’s Business Center, a downtown Los Angeles-based organization that provides guidance to entrepreneurs and small business owners, will be hosting a ten session Entrepreneur Training Program, from May 10 to June 7, 2025. Led by a variety of experts, topics of the twice-weekly sessions will include marketing, legal aspects of small businesses, taxes, access to capital, and more.
Swann Do, Director of the PACE Women’s Business Center, said: “Graduates of our Entrepreneur Training Program gain the essential knowledge and strategic skills to confidently launch and manage a successful business. This program empowers them to make informed decisions, navigate challenges, and choose the best path for long-term success.” She emphasized that the program can help those at any point in their journey as entrepreneurs: “Anyone can register – if they have a business, if they have an idea and don’t know what to do next.”

With a focus on female and socio-economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs, but open to all, PACE WBC has been providing services and support for two decades. In their latest yearly data, they tallied nearly 1200 clients served, 34 new businesses started, and $300,000 in capital leveraged.

PACE WBC is part of the California-wide Women’s Business Centers network. In their latest Impact Report, the organization counted 14,000 California businesses that they have served, with a remarkable return on their investment: a 21% increase in jobs created and retained (26,761 total), a 36% rise in gross sales revenue ($525 million), and $785.5 million reinvested into local economies. For every $1 of funding received, the WBC Network generated an impressive $79 in local economic benefits.
